Recently evicted BBNaija Season 9 housemate, Ben, has voiced his frustration over the level of control Big Brother exerts on the housemates.
In a post-show interview with Netng, Ben shared his dissatisfaction, particularly with the demanding nature of the show’s rules and the audition process.
Ben revealed that he joined the show upon the suggestion of his friend Tjay, who encouraged him to audition.
He described the audition phase as both exhausting and uncertain, stating that contestants were left in the dark about their status until the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, made the official announcement.
Once inside the house, however, Ben found the experience overwhelming due to Big Brother’s strict control.
He expressed his discomfort with being constantly directed and adhering to a rigid schedule without even seeing Big Brother in person.
“I just have to live by one man’s rule that I don’t see his face. Maybe if I see his face, I fit para for am; face ourselves. You’re not even seeing his face, na only voice we dey hear. Wetin you wan do? You vex vex, na to use the exit door, leave our house,” Ben said.
