It was a pleasure to have our global music icon, Rema, join me in performing the groundbreaking ceremony for the 6,000-capacity Edo Arena. The arena, to be named ‘Rema’s Dome,’ is located at the former Garrick Memorial School Ground on Ekenhuan Road in Benin City,” Obaseki shared via his social media platform, X, following the event.

Governor Obaseki further explained that the Edo Arena is designed to be a versatile venue, capable of hosting a variety of events including concerts, national conferences, symposiums, and other large gatherings.
