Niyindeba Janvier has shared his touching love story, demonstrating that love truly knows no boundaries.
Despite having no friends, no family, and no job, he has found everything he needs in his wife, Nyirantezimana Domitila.
Janvier’s journey to love began when he saw Domitila singing at a church shortly after he had converted to Christianity. Struck by her presence, he instantly fell in love with her.
He revealed that when he approached her, she never showed interest in him and then he was not ready to get a “no” for an answer.

he said: “It’s me who proposed to her and she refused for her first time, I tried to convince her telling her that my intentions to her are good but she refused she denied thinking I want to sleep with her but i told her that if she accepted me we would start a family together … that’s when she found me serious and found that time our relationship became stronger everyday.”
His wife on her part made it known that she did not believe him but had to test him through prayers.
She said: “When he came to me, i couldn’t believe it for i know boys normally lie to girls as someone who prays, i knew boys were deceitful they all come looking for something so i told him to go with me for prayers in the mountains and he accepted.”
How his family felt about bringing his girlfriend to them for marriage, he said: “”It became necessary to inform my parents about our decision to marry, I Invited them to see her and they happily agreed but when they saw her face, they were shocked by her condition they retreated back and swore their heads that our relationship should never be allowed to continue.
“I tried to change their mind telling them that my heart has chose this woman I begged them to accept her because she was my only choice, If i had another choice i won’t accept her, They didn’t want to listen to me and they returned back home very angry, they told my friends and other family relatives of the horrible face of my wife and asked them to not attend my wedding if i do not change my woman.
“After their denial, i looked for other people who would pretend to be my parents at my wedding as my real parents refused to come to my wedding luckily we had a successful wedding after its conclusion, my parents still asked me to divorce her saying that she doesn’t have a good face to be my wife I denied their suggestion replaying that they should never worry about her face since i have fallen in love with it I stayed together with my wife but my parents chose to go to uganda.”
